I received my first of 3 packages today from Jodie at "Jellywares"
I am taking part in her Winter Yarn Club....
You could choose knitting or crochet....
It is so nice to be receiving happy mail as it has been a long time
since I participated in a swap of any kind....
Inside were 2 balls of Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino.....
A project bag....Some yummy mints and 4 pattern choices....
I have decided to go with The Lady Violet's Lace Gauntlets....
Wish me luck girls as I can knit but only basic...
I purchased my double ended needles yesterday and my first ever crochet hook(can't crochet but that is on my bucket list) I hope to get started on these over the weekend....
I think we are in for a cold wet one so a knitting
project will be just perfect....

I am not much of a knitter either but I'm very tempted to join in. Jodie's FB posts are always so tempting....maybe I should try a scarf. Enjoy your snuggly knitting weekend.

ReplyDeleteBTW Next time you need needles or a crochet hook, try your local op shop. They usually have bucket loads of that sort of thing, and dirt cheap too.
Good on you for having a go.. I'll look forward to watching your progress. I'd packed away my knitting needles & crochet hooks but I found them today and put them where I can find them if I feel the urge to use them.
