My Garden "The Barrow"
I finished "The Barrow" off last night......
I will need to stitch down the tail after I stitch the borders on.....
This one has a flower button to finish it off.....
That leaves "The Birdbath" to go.....
Last block to stitch before construction!
It is in the hoop with applique done, just the stitching to go.....

Jack's First Quilt
This is the first quilt that I made Jacky Mister for his 4th Birthday......
Look how cute he was *Tear*
I also made him a new one last year for his 14th Birthday,
check it out in one of my previous posts......
I wanted something that he wouldn't grow out of.......
It is simple checks and primitive stars...
Jack is my Star!!!!!
I traced his little hand to make the quilt label......
It has faded quite a bit...
He has used it on his bed for almost 11 years....
Wow feels like yesterday....

My Garden "Birdhouses"
Another finish for "My Garden"....
The Birdhouse block is finished, all except the end of
the tail will need to be stitched down after I add the borders.....
The Button on this one is a cute little Birdhouse......

Final Hexagon Prep Session!
I have spent my last day preparing the rest
of the white Hexagons for my quilt.......
All cut, glued, traced and ready for stitching.....
I have also basted the last of the blooms so from here on in it is just stitching, stitching & more stitching.....
Time to give my glue pen a hard earned rest *Grin*

Molly's First Quilt
This is the quilt that I made for Miss Molly's 7th Birthday......
It was a Row of the Month from The "Patchwork Pumpkin"...
All the fabrics were supplied and some I thought "Yuk"
when I opened them but they all came together beautifully,
that is the joy of having someone else pick fabrics for you.....
I particularly liked the 3D Sunflowers on this row.....
The little Picaninni girls are always a favourite.....
Mother Hen and her chicks.....
Houses and Shrubs.....
Flying Geese and Log Cabin Blocks......
Crazy Patchwork Hearts and Daisies.....
Beautifully quilted by Liz Montgomery in Cobar.....
It is on the bed in the spare/sewing room.....
See that cupboard in the corner!

Meet Miss Bernina!
Firstly I would like to introduce you to my little Bernina 802 Sport....
I have had her since I was in High School.....
This is the only machine I have ever owned and I have used it to produce
all of the projects that I have shown you on this blog......
In Miss Molly's words she is "Vintage"....*Grin*
So I was working on her to join up this block........
And I thought why stop at 1.......
So I added the borders to all 12 blocks......
You know what I will be doing next......
That's right tracing on my designs so I can finally start stitching!!!!!

"Tis the Season" Started!
I am now on Holidays for 2 weeks so I got
to cut up my new fabric yesterday.....
After some chopping and changing I settled on this layout
for "Tis the Season"
All redy to sew the borders on and then I will trace the stitchery designs onto each block......There didn't seem to be a lot of room around the stitching so I have opted to do it this way....
Even the scraps look yummy all piled up!
