Jukejema Retreat - Part 1

The girls and I set off Friday morning on a road trip to
Jukejema Guilting Barn's "Stitching at the waters Edge Retreat"
held at  "Waterslea" on the beautiful Shoalhaven River at Nowra........
We were just a tad excited....Yewwww!!
We stopped for lunch at Taralga at a quaint little coffee shop....
There were some gorgeous buildings there and I would have loved
to get lots of photos but is was pouring rain....
I snapped a shot of this one across the road from the coffee shop.......
We also stopped at Kangaroo Valley for afternoon tea.....
While we were there we found a great wood working shop......
 Isn't this rocking horse magnificent!!!!!!
Here are the girls inspecting the dolls houses.......
We then continued on to this little patch of paradise.....
We collected our room keys and got settled into our rooms......
While we were waiting to get let into here and meet our tutors
who were going to share our projects for the weekend we met
Kim our host for the weekend and one of my blog buddies Sandy.....
L to R - Roxanne, Sandy,Alison, Kim, Joanne & Fran.....
This is what greated us on our tables in the sewing room......
A bag of patterns and this cute little gift box....
Inside were some chocolates and this gorgeous homemade gift.....
One for all of us made by Kim's clever Mother.......
I will be back tomorrow to share more about our weekend .....
Until next time, Happy Stitching
