Some Kind of Wonderful Pin Cushion

I had a bit of trouble trying to trace the stitchery design for this
with my light box because the linen was a bit thick.....
So it was off to Marally Craft for me to get some transfer paper...
It worked a treat and I am now ready to stitch
when the thread comes in at The Home Patch....
Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate

I had the same problem, so ended up doing the pincushion on a tea-dyed background. I have used a slightly lighter linen for the coin purse and it has been much easier. The pincushion is a sweet little project.

What kind of transfer paper was it as I have tried a few things on Annie's dark linen! Lighter linen works better!

Hi Kate, I must confess to avoiding darker linen for stitching because of tracing the design, so I'd love to know about the transfer paper.

Looking forward to seeing the finished pincushion. The book is filled with lots of "must do that" projects, isn't it?

Regards, Sue
