Friday 24 August 2012

I had a trip to the day surgery on Monday and have spent a
very slow quiet week at home a little sore and uncomfortable..
I also had braces put on my teeth yesterday so it
has been a crappy week to say the least....
These lovely flowers cheered me up along with
some lovely visits from special friends.....
But what cheered me up the most was a text message from
the very clever Belinda Betts from Eucalypt Ridge Quilting.....
My Hexi quilt is ready to be picked up....
Insert a big braces smile and happy dance here!!!!
This is the picture that she sent me....
I will show you some more pics when I pick it up....Yay!
Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate

You've had the ups & the downs this week... I do wish you all the best with your braces, it is not easy at the beginning but will be worth the trouble when they come off to reveal a stunning smile. Now THAT quilt, well my mouth is watering for what I can see of it, can't wait for some more pics!
