Road Trip to Carinda Part 3

Today I will share some pictures of some of
the great girls that I met at Carinda.....
Here they are working hard on their individual projects....
Lots of smiling faces :)
The hall was the perfect place to be with our kitchen right
along side of us and plenty of space to spread out
with great benches for cutting out etc.....
Left to Right: Rachel, who we stayed with, Alison,
the lovely Loretta and I (looking slightly rounder
after all that lovely home cooked food)....
The girls sure know how to let their hair
down and have a good time.....
The drinks were flowing freely by this time....
Alison and I were getting into trouble
 because we were still sewing.....
I was still working on my borders.....
I did have a couple of wines but wine, scissors, pins
and sewing machines don't mix and I wanted
to get as much finished as I could.....
Plus after 3 I am usually ready to dance on the table...Ha Ha!
Here's Alison working on another project.....
A travel wallet from Anni Down's Book "Some Kind of Wonderful"
We headed back out to Rachel's farm at about 10pm....
This is how my quilt was looking by then....
Sunday morning we headed back to the hall for a couple of hours...
I was fiddling around with my visoflex and fabric and
this is what I got up to with my house block....
The fence and trees are fused and the house is cut out
ready to fuse, I am much happier with this block now.....
1pm we packed up and said our goodbyes and
headed out the Coonamble road on our way home.....
We arrived home at 5.30....
A big thanks to Alison for taking me and also to
Rachel and all the other girls for a great weekend....
Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate
