Lunch, Antiques, SKOW and Autumn

I had a lovely afternoon in Millthorpe
yesterday for Alison's Birthday Lunch.....
Here is a pic of Alison, her Mum, her 3 Daughters and 3 friends....
It was nice to have a look through the many
little shops that Millthorpe has to offer.....
I am so excited because I found this gorgeous
old church window in the antique shop.....
I am going to hang it on the wall at home....
 Also this little jug.....
Look at the lines and cracks in this little beauty....
I bet it could tell some stories....
This cute little frame that the kids asked me if it was vintage....
I said yes and so is the little girl in it now.....
Was I really that small....Ha ha...
So whilst watching Titanic with Miss Molly last night I
finally finished my first block for SKOW .....
And in the spirit of travel I started stitching
the words on my holiday block....
I was driving down this street on the way out of town
and just had to stop and get a pic of the lovely Autumn colours .....
Orange is just a mixed colour palette at the moment
and I feel blessed to be living here....
Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate

Oh Kate, great vintage finds. I love the jug & the photo frame, it looks perfect with that cutie in it. The church window is amazing. You just have to look at my travel pics to see I have a vintage window & door fetish & am proud of it. Can't wait to see pics of it in place. Tracee xx
