F.H.F.S 2015 Hexagon Swap

I have been invited into a fun group this year by some very special ladies, the group is called Friends Having Fun Stitching. We have 4 swaps to complete throughout the year. sending off to one member and receiving from another.....

 This is what I received in our first swap which was a Hexagon

or anything English paper pieced swap....

I was lucky to receive this Gorgeous bag from Cheryl, it has

 a hexagon shaped base and 3 beautifully embroidered panels..

 

Inside there are lots of handy pockets and a matching hexagon

shaped pincushion, cottage garden thread in a fun shade and

some pins with tiny plastic sewing spools on the top..Too cute!

Thanks again Cheryl, you have made my day...

This is what I sent off to Christine....

I made a necklace for Christine to wear on retreat/sewing

days and a hoop hanging to hang in her sewing space

 or wherever makes her smile....

Some jube lollies because they are Christine's favourite and

 a pack of papers to inspire her into a future project...

"C" for Christine....
And the good news is that she loves what I put together...

Our next swap is a ruler cover swap....
