Simple Pleasures

I am working on the Mini Quilt from Annie Down's Simple Pleasures Book.

All the stitcheries are done

I picked this fabric up last year at the bargain price of $8 per metre, there is also red the same as the green paisley print at the top. I purchased a metre of each because the colours were nice and they were a bargain....Of course....Usually I like to buy kits as there is not too much thinking involved, just straight to sewing..........So what to make with it.

I decide upon this quilt and as I have lots of fabric I have doubled the size so it will be a more usable size instead of decorative. We like to use all the quilts in our house to snuggle up under. So I found a few co-ordinating spots and have had a play with layout etc.......

Still a work in progress although I think I am almost happy with it.
Watch this Space...........
I am off to Griffith this afternoon for 2 days of
Rep Basketball with Jacky Mister so better go
and pack the Hexies to keep me busy...........

Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate
