Visit to The Home Patch

Today my friend Alison, her mum Nannie and I went for a drive to Bathurst. We called into the Home Patch and were lucky to be greeted by Annie herself. She was just home from a trip to Salt Lake City and had all the samples of her new book "Some Kind of Wonderful". She laid them all out for us to ooh and ahh over. Annie also showed us her new range of fabric called "My Favourite Things" and some samples that she has made up from them. And yes there was more oohing and ahhing to be done.

I just had to buy something of course so I purchased:

These cute little hooks.

A woven wool pack for the stitchery on the bag in Annies
"The World as it Should Be" book that I purchased some time ago.

And a fabric pack to make the "Sewing Angel Tool Store"

I really like going to The Home Patch and grabbing a kit, it is nice to have all the fabrics to complete a project without having lots of waste.

We had lunch at a coffee shop and took Nannie to the Optometrist. I had a lovely day out. Which was good as I couldn't face my kitchen again today *Grin*

Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate

Lucky you to be able to visit Anni. I live too far away! I love Anni's designs, too. Hopefully I'll get to visit Bathurst someday.
