Harvest Town Flannel Quilt Top Complete

Chooky arrived Friday and after dinner it a was out to the
Studio for us. I was showing her some unfinished projects
(we all have those)that I plan to work on some time soon....
Well being the Whip Cracker that she is she told me to get busy
and add the borders to this gorgeous flannel quilt
that has been a WIP for some time...
I purchase the fabrics from by Bestie Suze at The Cobar
Quilt Shop a couple of years ago and decided to make an
Autumn/Winter snuggle quilt for
Jacky Mister to use whilst watching TV....
He is very tall my boy so I made it longer than the original
pattern so his feet don't hang out...
I got the borders on in no time and pressed and tossed it over
my daybed to get a photo and then I remembered I now have
a "you beaut" design wall for that sort of thing....ha ha!
Hmm....Maybe I need a taller design wall or a shorter son!!!
I just love the feel of this flannel and the gorgeous rich colours,
I am going to use the leftover scraps to make a scrappy strip
to add to the backing to give it a double sided effect....
The binding will be this green and is made and waiting to be
added after quilting, the other binding is for another
quilt I will show you another time...
It feels great to have my top finished and I best get busy on
the backing before the Whip cracker visits again!!!!

Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate
