I managed to get a bit of stitching finished on
my "Sewing Block" over the weekend....
I have cut out the mini quilts but have not
had a chance to sew them yet.....
I am liking how this block is turning out....
I will piece the mini quilts and then blanket stitch them on....
Bart and I had a day at the races at Randwick yesterday....
His horse was running but didn't do any good this time...
Oh well that's racing!!!!

My daughter has been making little decorative tea cloths, sewing geese & ducks on the cloth and sewing little cute friendhip sayings on them, I prefer to just hang them for decoration on the oven handle. Pat also sewed me a little pink felt cell phone pouch with a yellow giraffe on it for my new Tracfone SVC phone for seniors which I got for mothers day. This phone has the bigger keys and letters on the screen so that I don't need my spec's to make a call.
Above all else I'd prefer a quilted or sewn cloth as a gift as it is such a comfy, rich, luxurious treasure.
