My Beautiful Tree is Dying

This tree is to the West of the back of my house and I just
love the shade that it provides for me in the Summer....
I even love raking up the masses of Autumn leaves
that it drops, the colours are so pretty.....
Sadly I have raked up my last Autumn leaves from
this tree because it is dying from the roots up....
"The Tree Surgeon" has made a house call and confirmed
my worst fears that it has to be removed....
He is as baffled as I am as to why it has started to die
and we don't want to take any chances that it may fall
on my House or my sewing Studio so in the next
few weeks it will be removed....

It is going to leave a very bare patch in my back
yard and I am devastated to say the least.....
They say from all endings come new beginnings so
I will have to plan a new project to fill the void eventually....
Stay tuned for how it will look when it's removed...

Until next time, Happy Stitching

Kate

Sad news for such a beautiful big tree. I'm sure you will think of something to replace it.

What a pity, Kate. Hopefully you may be able to find a quick growing tree to give you shade again.

I hate removing trees! Perhaps you could plant something else there which will grow into something just as beautiful.

Oh No! What a terrible shame about your beautiful tree, Kate... big trees are such good summer shelter... I look forward to seeing what you do with the space when it's gone... good thing you have lovely pics of it
